In this conceptual project, we utilized Spark AR to design a prototype AR app featuring a resourceful beaver character that helps George Brown College students find the best internet hotspots. This AR prototype not only showcases our ability to ideate and design within augmented reality platforms but also demonstrates a practical solution for enhancing campus connectivity. The project highlights our creative approach to addressing students' needs through engaging and innovative digital experiences.

CHALLENGES

For this project, we embarked on learning Spark AR, a platform new to our team, to create an AR app concept. The challenge was to devise a simple yet impactful application tailored for George Brown College students in need of reliable internet hotspots. This task required us to quickly master unfamiliar technology while ensuring the concept was feasible and functional for potential real-world implementation.

OUTCOME

Through this project, the team mastered Spark AR and developed an augmented reality experience targeted at students. This initiative enhanced our capabilities in augmented reality applications, preparing us for future projects in this field.
